My current complex says that if I do not have my lease renewal paperwork back to them by Feb 15th (Lease ends March 30th) that I would be required to pay March AND April's rent.
What does the law says on this?
My lease is up March 30th regardless. Should I choose not to renew, I should only have to pay March if I leave before March. Can they LEGALLY charge me for April? If not, I can see them trying to withold my security deposit. That would be great fun.![]()
