Default A Non-Sexual Relationship With An Of-Age Guy

I live in GA and am 22 and recently started dating a 17 year old co-worker. I know the age of consent in GA is 16, but another (jealous?) co-worker expressed "concern" as there may be "other charges" my boyfriend's parents could file against me for being with him, regardless of the fact that I'm not even having sex with him. I was wondering if there are other stipulations, or if my co-worker is simply being jealous.

The age of consent is 16 in Georgia. His parents can't prosecute you for statutory rape, and I can't imagine what else your co-worker thinks you could be on the hook for, unless you're buying/giving him booze or encouraging him to skip school?

It's doubtful your co-worker is "jealous". You're involved in a relationship with a minor - a minor who is holding down a job, but a minor nevertheless - and that can be a tricky thing.
