    Default Turned Down By Landlords Due To Criminal Record In Florida

    I'm in Marion County Florida and recently my fiance and I are looking to buy a home is lease to own. But, a company said because I am a felon they are not able to allow me to live there. So I was turned down. Wouldn't that be decleared as Discriminination again Criminals

    Felons are not a protected class and therefore the landlord has every right not to rent to you.
