Default Evicting A Roommate With An Oral Lease

When I bought my house my mother moved in with me. The house is in my name. As you can probably guess, it is now not working out and I want her to leave. We do not have a written lease agreement. Since May 2007, our oral agreement has been she would pay me $300/month in rent. Now we are not getting along and I want her out, yesterday. However, she claims that I owe her some money and says she will not leave until I pay her. From my understanding, since we do not have a written lease, but she has been paying a rent each month, she is my tenant on a month to month lease. Can I evict her with 30 days written notice? Can this be in any form of a written notice or a legally prepared document? Does she need to acknowledge the eviction in writing? We live in Pennsylvania. Your help is very much appreciated...!
