    Default Divorcing Parent

I have a 15 y/o nephew who moved with his father over a year ago (my sister is deceased). His father lives in Louisana (not hurricane affected area, but recently sent my nephew to move with his sister in Florida, who he has had no relationship with.

Originally, my niece agreed to let him be with his father after 9 years of her raising him and his father now has legal guardianship over him. However, he has given his daughter legal guardianship and the minor child doesn't want to live with her.

What can my nephew do to move back with his sister in Georgia (mother's daughter). His sister states she would have to go to Louisana to fight a custody battle but the child is now living in Florida? What can my nephew do to help himself move with his sister in Georgia.

    Default Complicated Interstate Guardianship Problem

His sister should consider consulting a lawyer, to try to untangle all of these guardianships, figure out what is going on, and figure out in which state any legal proceedings would have to be filed.
