Unhappy Can Landlord Require Me To Pay For Half Of Appliance Repairs

I live in the State of Florida, I have been renting the same mobile home for 3 years, on January 4 2008 my landlady put a envelope in my mailbox
informing me that as of Jan 15 2008 my rent would be going up by 50.00
a month to start paying this extra 50.00 a month begining Jan. 15 2008,also enclosed was a rental agreement that she told me I had to sign or I
would have to move I do not have a problem with the rental agreement except that after 3 yrs she now expects me to pay for half of repairs to appliances, these appliances have been there at least 15 yrs I donot feel
that I should have to pay for repairs that I donot cause the damage what can I do besides move, and if I have to how quickly can she make me leave?

    thank you,

In absense of a lease, landlord can change the terms of your month to month agreement anytime they wish. You have a choice to either pay what they want or move out. In Florida, on a month to month agreement, landlord only needs to give 14 days notice to vacate.
