    Question Temporary Protected Status Questions

Hi, am wondering if anyone can help me, I want my husband to come and visit me to Canada but he is under the Temporary Protected Status which expires in March of 2009, what am wondering is if he is allowed to come to canada without having to get a re-entry permit, or what are the restrictions of the TPS, I would like him to stay in canada for a year but if that can't happen atleast for a week. I know i need to get him a visa here but before paying for one here i want to know if he can come to canada.

To travel while under TPS status, you have to obtain advance parole.
Quote Quoting May I Travel Outside the United States?
An individual granted TPS must remain continuously physically present in the United States. The grant of TPS status does not mean that you have permission to travel abroad, though permission to travel may be granted by the district director in accordance with the advance parole regulations. There is no appeal to a denial of advance parole. Failure to obtain advance parole prior to traveling abroad may result in the withdrawal of your TPS and/or the institution or re-calendaring of removal proceedings. what is the difference between getting an advance parole or getting a re-entry visa, and for how long can a person be out of the US with this permit?
