Default I Want To Get Divorce And Marry Another Citizen, But How Will It Affect My Status?

i am a young mother of one, married to a US citizen who petitioned me and we already submitted the papers for the removal of my conditional status. i am now given a year extension before my temporary visa to expire. the problem is i fell in love with another and im thinking of getting divorce now because the other person wants to marry me. he is also a US citizen. how will this affect my status? and if in case i do get divorce, do i have to start the process all over again or is there another way for me to just continue to stay in the us legally?

If you break up your relationship while your permanent residency remains conditional, obviously you put your status in jeopardy. If you wish to proceed anyway, consult an immigration lawyer.
