Something worse than whatever happened the first time.

Keep it up and the judge will have to consider putting you in juvie, where they can make sure you get to class on time.

This is the schools defination of truancy:
    TRUANCY
A student is considered truant if he/she is absent from classes and/or school without
permission. A student who is found to be truant three (3) or more days in one semester
will be designated as a habitual truant.
    Consequences for Truancy:
    1st offense: A three-day in-school suspension will be given. Parentllegal guardian/
    administrator/student conference will be held.
2nd offense: A five. day out. of. school suspension will be assigned; parentllegal
guardian/administrator/student conference will be held; letter
submitted to probation or Division of Family Services depending upon
the age of the student; SAP referral will be initiated.
. 3rd offense: Recommendation for suspension pending expulsion, loss of driver's license until the age of 18. Referral to the County Court or additional contact with the Division of Family Services depending upon
    the age of the child.
Thirteen and fourteen year old students designated as habitually truant
will be identified in a list submitted to the Bureau of Motor Vehicles (BMV)and may not
be issued an operator's license or a learner's permit until they are 18 years of age, or until
their attendance improves and they are free from truancies for two (2) semesters as
determined by the school principal. Periodic attendance reviews will be conducted each
six weeks after a student has been designated as habitually truant.

i just got a truancy ticket and some detention.. around 60 bucks.. because they just count you as truant and then when you get 3 or 4 they send it to the judge a cop hands you a ticket and you go to court and they just ask why you didnt go to school and all that stuff yell at you some say go to school and you pay the fine and be done with it.. i live in wisconsin so its probobly different were you are so dont take my word for it but thats what happened to me i was truant 6 or 7 times and tried to call my self in once and they got me for that, and i pretty much didnt go to school 1st quarter of last year. like id go to school and leave like an hour later or id come back to school for shop class and stuff like that. if youve gotten a bunch of tickets i can see juvi but that would stop you from going to school, maybe a 72 hour lockup on the weekend if anything. but im not sure how your state deals with that i just thought id share my experience with you and tell you what happened. its not really anything huge..
