I'm 19 and a full time student in Florida; Last November I was picked up for shoplifting(pety theft), I wasn't arrested, and it was my first offense. I went to court and the judge let me go with the crime not charged, I saw a probation officer to pay some fines, but other then that I was good to go. Now, I need to get a loan out to pay for the rest of college. Will my NOT convicted charges show up when the bank pulls my credit? If so, can I get appoved? I don't really understand what will happen after the charges are put on my record. If I'm not convicted of the crime, will it still affect my future in purchasing a house or a car? What about a future job?
