    Default how does emancipation work

I am 16 years old and everything that could have gone wrong did. my dad left for lousaina to help with the hurricanes but still while he was here was not much of a father at all. my mom is emotionaly and verbly abusive. I have a job and attend school (junior), i pay for all my expences :food, clothing, cell phone, medication, my car and gas, insurance, etc. I also lend my mom money over time to help her pay for her bills and help my combined family of 8. she so far owes me over $700. I want to know if it is at all possible to become emincapated. my boyfriend of over a year and his family offered me a room in thier basement to live and stay until i find a more permenant place of my own. is this possible?

    Default Emancipation Law

Emancipation laws vary by state, so your ability to emancipate will depend upon the laws of the state where you live.
