I was wondering, how long do records last? I have about 13 speeding violations, and wanted to get them off my record completely. Is that possible?

In Michigan, the longest driving record abstract I'm aware of is ten years.
It depends on the state. While many states will only give you a ten year abstract, the information remains as long as they actually keep the records. For insurance purposes most companies only go back 3 years but some have started going back five years.
So pretty much no way of getting them off my record at all?
You would have to convince each prosecutor involved in each offense to reopen each individual ticket, and amend the charge to something that is not abstracted to the state, and then to update the Secretary of State on the amendment. The odds of that happening are exceedingly low.
