    Default N-400; Part 10; Section A 4: Tax Filings

How do I answer this question: Since becoming a Lawful Permanent Resident, have you ever failed to file a federal, state or local tax return. Y / N

In filed my 2001 taxes in 2004 due to an oversight. All prior and post years have been filed normally.

Since I did actually file the return, albeit late, can I answer NO or do i go with Yes. Would this have an significance on my application.

    Thanks

As I understand what you have stated, you did file - but you filed late. Filing late is different from not filing at all.
