Hi - so glad I found this forum!! Last week my X got served papers that I filed asking for an increase in child support.

Today I received a certified letter from him (not a lawyer) stating that he is going to seek full custody and he wants me provide him with copies of our joint tax returns from 1999-2004. I can only assume he wants to see how much I was earning back then to refute how little I earn now...

Is there any legal reason why I need to provide him with copies of documents he left behind when he moved out in July of 2005?? I know that he can file a form with the IRS and pay them $39 per copy so do I HAVE to do it instead of them??

we both live in California..
