I will be taking my roommate to court for half the rent she will owe for the remainder of the lease. Since we had verbally agreed to split utilities down the middle, should I get last years utility bills and use that as an average of what should be owed? Or would that not be a good idea? Also I am wonder if she could move back in, she threatened me and stole my stuff, I have a one year old daughter and wouldn't feel comfortable if she were here with us. What could I do so that she couldn't move back in?
