Default Setting Aside A Restraining Order Based On Contact Initiated By Petitioner

An ex g/f recently filed a TRO against me for DV. She has subsequently emailed me requesting information/help for something she needed information on.

    I didn't respond, of course.

How seriously does that weaken her position when we go to the hearing? Did she undermine her claim for the TRO by doing so?

Without knowing the allegations against you, the facts of the case, and the nature of the contact, who can say? If you are serious about fighting the TRO, consider getting help from a lawyer.

The allegations are of battery, I dispute the claim.

It's just that the contact was requesting help on such a trivial matter, nothing at all related to the case - basically, I could make something relatively easy and convenient for her, or she can do it the hard way and it would longer.
