Question Do I Need Permission For Interstate Travel During Visitation Time

Please help. I would like to take my 2 children (ages 8 & 9) on an airplane out of state from NJ to visit family across the country during my court sanctioned time. I have joint custody. Do I need permission from a hostile Ex?

Is there any restriction on interstate travel in your custody and visitation order?

No. There is no restriction. Both the Ex and I routinely take the children to Pa. or De. as a matter of coarse. Since we live very close to both states, the children's pediatrician is in De.
