I was accussed of sexual harrassment at work. 1 female employee said I pulled my pants down at work. I am in a management position and did NOT do this. She said it happened 2 weeks before She reported it and She went to the purchasing manager ( who is my wife's uncle) instead of the Boss. She claimed She thought that's who She was supposed to tell. There is no proof either way. She can't prove I did it, and I can't prove That I didn't do it. The same day Her friend from work told the purchasing manager that she "thinks" I undid her Bra. Wouldn't you know if your Bra was undone? They both reported this at the same time. Again with no proof or witnesses. Both stories are full of holes and missing details. My employer did not handle an investigation properly and let this leak out. They gave me the option to resign or be terminated. I have worked there for 11 yrs and have a clean record. Is it that easy to get someone fired? And Do I have any rights as the accused? My reputation is ruined and I am a respectful person. Any suggestions?????
