    Default Sponsoring A Husband

I am a Canadian Citizen and want to sponsor my soon to be husband, he was charged with assault second degree on a household family member and this makes him inadmissible to Canada, I have been told that he can come to a Canadian Border and get his charged changed so to me the Canadian requirements, He is not a US Citizen, he is in the US under the Temporary Protected Status, can he still come to the Canadian Border and get a Visa to Enter Canada. I can't afford an immigration lawyer so am trying to get all the help that I can, I have read the Canadian Laws, if he goes to anger management classes and get a certificate from those classes stating that he is rehabilitated will that mean that he is rehabilitated is admissible to Canada?

This forum is focused on U.S. legal issues. You're asking about Canadian immigration law, with a secondary issue relating to the criminal laws of an unknown state and/or nation. You could help us out by filling in the missing information, but I'm not sure how likely it is that anybody here will be able to answer Canadian immigration law questions.
