Did you talk to the bank - did you let them know this was an unauthorized & not allowed deduction from your account?

What state, Florida? Was this money garnished in a bank account as part of a judgement collection process? If so, you need to file for a claim of exemption from garnishment of your bank account proceeds and set it for hearing asap. Once you are at the hearing you will have the burden of proof to establish the source of the money taken, and argue your legal position, with specificity, pointing out the particular exemption that applies to your circumstances. There is a Florida Statute on garnishment that walks you through the time limits associated with such requested relief and the exemptions to garnishment proceedings, you may want to review the statute.

If someone stole money from you , then that is an entirely different conversation and you need to contact your local law enforcement, State Attorney' s Office, BBB, F.T.C. and see what they suggest.
