Hi,
I hope this is appropriate place to post this. Hoping to see if they can do this. If matters when moved in several years ago old management gave sticker for vehicles parked in any of our lots. All of my vehicles have these stickers from management and they collected at the time make/model and year of each vehicle along with each vehicle's tag numbers. If it matters I have 1 vehicle in complex's paid parking garage and rest are in "free" lot. Personally myself and a few other residents often don't use our vehicles for several weeks at a time. After finding notice over last couple years I go by and remind them my vehicles are in good running order and I don't drive often anymore. But my tags are up to date and all are in working order with no flats. This last time was about time our lease was up in August. Today we get another one of these notices on our apartment door.
BTW: I'll try to keep this short.
We live in a Oklahoma City Apartment.
OK, notice says: free to park, not store your vehicle. We know there are not enough spaces for everyone, but using it for storage will make your vehicle eligible for towing. This action will also be taken if the vehicle has expired tag or flat tire(s). Should a disabled vehicle stay in lot for 3 days without notifying the office it will be towed.
I tried looking for city statutes but I was not able to find any.
Thanks, for any information and or direction.
Sincerely,
Mike
