Default Shoplifting Charges In The Mail

just a few days ago i got caught shoplifting in sephora in New York and things got very scary. i stole about 182 dollars of stuff and the security jus brought me into a room and told me to put all the stuff out and wanted to call my parents. instead i gave them my brothers number and stuff and they didnt call the cops. whut im scared is that, if they mail me the letter, is the fine going to be tripled?
=[ im just 15 and my parents still havent found out about this yet. i hope the mail just says my brothers name.
o god. wut shud i do?

You gave them your brother's name, address and phone number? Or did you give them your own name, but lie about where you lived? If it's the former, have you told your brother yet?

If the Civil Demand is not paid on time they will raise fee (maybe triple) if not paid after that they have option to sue you (and win) in court this will likely result in higher fee plus court costs and legal fees. As a minot these fees (Civil Demand) go on your parents

the security guard was really nice to me and just said i hafta go home and wait for letter to pay.

i didnt leave my parents name. instead my brother just gave him his id. my brother is 23. i gave him my adress and my brother lives wit me.

do u think things are going to get out of hand? orr is it jus a case wher i pay it. and its over?

im just hoping my parents wont know.
