My son and four friends (all age 20) were pulled over. No speeding. No erratic driving. The driver was given a breathalizer, blew 0.0. Cops said they smelled alcohol. They guys did not admit that they were drinking. No tickets given at the time but the guys were told to come in to the police station and the cop would decide then what he was going to do. Three days later they went in and were given disorderly conduct. They were told if they fight it they will be charged with underage drinking. Can the police give out tickets days after pulling someone over? I don't think I'd be told to stop by tomorrow to get a speeding ticket. Will the boys all have records now? My son is from NJ. His friends are all from PA.
