lol funny. Next time dont steal.

Places such as rid-aid, CVS, and other stores that that i dont need to name have a no chase police. Meaning, even if you beep on the way out. The person working there can ask for a receipt and if you deny they are training to just catch your lis. plate number. Some places allow managers though to detain and call the police. If you ever notice that is why they have cameras right there at the door. For later use of your picture.

Next time buy it, cause you never know when a cop will just be standing there. And its happen to people iv known before and they got taken down hard. Why risk it.

Having a no chase policy would not keep Lp from making a stop as in most case a perp must exit store. Rite aid does not employ full time LP coverage they are roving. It could be that no LP was in store at time. However if they got your plate expect a vist , call or letter from Police

Hm, as far as i know rid-aids and CVS in my general area have NO lp what so ever. Only one CVS that does its about 15 min from my area, with a no chase policy. I know the person that works LP for that store. There are very strict guide lines if you are going to chase someone, you better be sure that person has something or you are fired. Also if they do ask when they stop you, you have every right to deny them their request. If they say they must ask them if you are being arrest or detained for shoplifting, and your have ur answer right there.

Simple rule for all LP "know" they have merch. Thats no brainer. No chase polices vary and this could include a boundry or no pursuit. I do not know eithers but this is Rite aid and I do know thye do not employ in store LP around the clock the LP rove even store staff do not know who they are. An employee could have gotten plate or even LP if perp had passed boundry (if any) However it appears as though OP did get away (time will tell) I would say it would not be wise to return though

agree do not return also. Most likely if they know you did something your face has been seen by cameras, and prolly posted on a board somewhere waiting for you to enter again. Least thats the way a certain retailer i work for did.
