Angry Being Sued For a Credit Card I Didn't Sign For

Hi,...I was in a marriage in 2001, seperated in 2005. Some where in there my ex husband TO be, put a credit card in my name, got a card for him self as well....I cant get on the site to get any information, I cant request a proof of signature, I cant email them, I dont know the username or password that my husband created. he told me several times in an email that he would take over this credit card debt, then he said he would pay it as long as i would sign the divorce papers. theres no div papers yet because I am still waiting for the marital assets and the equitable distrubution to be settled. My attny already filed it for the assets and debts, and were still waiting on reply from his attny. Being that I was served yesterday, for a large amt, they want to take my personal belongings. Yet, I never signed for the credit card. I did however sign the back of my card, for proof, that I didnt sign for thiscredit card. My ex used it apparently for hockey items, gas, etc. I dont know what to do. I already left a vm with my divorce/custody lawyer. I want proof that its my signature. My friend said his ex wife did this to him and hes fighting it as well. I live in PA (USA). I dont know the laws here very well, but hoping some one on here does. I work pt now, theres no way I can afford this credit card, court costs and attny fees. I emailed my ex and told him he needs to pay this card off like he said he would, I have an email that is from him, saying he will PAY the card. any help? the papers I got yesterday do not say a hearing date on them either...?

You need to be getting help for this from your own divorce lawyer, who should be able to help you answer the complaint and dispute the validity of their claim against you. Do not default in the lawsuit.

If you are being sued, do not ignore the lawsuit, as this could result in a default judgment against you.
