Two part question
Q1. I have a friend that came to the U.S. legally on a religious visa in 2002 and has overstayed her visa about 5 years. She was able to get a drivers license during her VISA period but has sence the driver license has expired as of 2007 Aug. She resides and lives in the state of Gerogia. She would like to be able to get a new drivers license but she's is afraid of going to get a new license for fear of being found and exposed for driver on expired license and being detained or worse being told to leave the country.
Q2. Also what are her options for marrying a U.S citizen at this point? Will getting married to a citizen enable her status to be adjusted to extend her stay without penalty or deportation?
Thanks
