    Default Judgement Before Filing Bankruptcy

I just filed a no asset chapter 7 bankruptcy in Colorado. I had a judgement against me by a credit card 6 months prior in County Court. I listed the credit card company and attorney. Is that enough or do i have to add the County Court to the matrix? Do I need to file a motion after the discharge with County Court?

    Thanks

You should notify your creditors - which in this case would be the holder of the judgment. You should notify the county court as well, filing the notice of bankruptcy in the court file, in order to ensure that there is no violation of the automatic stay. When the bankruptcy is over you should document the order of discharge to the court - procedures can vary by state (this thread includes link to procedures for Minnesota), but on the whole should be similar; the court clerk may be able to inform you of local procedure.
