Question Really How Little Are We Looking At Living On.

Take home pay is currently est at 6400 a month... our monthly expenses not including our cc's (which are not my reason to file saving my house is which we fell behind on while hubby was on workers comp) is 4800 that does not include anything extra like if a kids birthday comes up or I need to buy them clothes ect. Our expenses are higher due to my hubbys commute costs of 520 a month. In reality how little do they leave you in leway with expenses. I'm really not understanding this at all. We are only behind on our mortgage nothing else.

Any advice would be great I know we should contact an attorney but I'm trying to get the bank to work out a plan with us on our house first since that is all we are behind in. As I wait for them since they are dragging their heals I wanted to find info on Bankruptcy as well just so we have a last resort option. It's crazy though they gave us a sum of 10400 to come current but we are only behind 5000 dollars the rest is all fee's they are tacking on!!

You can find a simple calculator here, which will give you a rough estimate of your payment.
