    Question Insurance and Emancipation

My husband has an 18yo daughter. She lives in her own apartment and attends college full-time. He is filing for emancipation in Indiana. Will she still be allowed to be on our insurance or will she need to get her own? He is paying half her rent and co-signed the lease for her apartment (she and her boyfriend live in).

    Default Re: Insurance and Emancipation

He's trying to emancipate her so he can stop paying child support, correct? That has nothing to do with whether she would qualify to be on his insurance - check with your carrier.
