    Default Wife Detained By Police

my wife came in on a K1 Visa 2 years ago and we are now going to renew her green card and get her a permenant residency status. She only had 2 years due to it being marriage based. My question is, she was detained by police a few months ago for what they thought was a DUI but turned out to be nothing more than a panic attack. she was taken to jail but then sent to the hospital. after further review they discovered that she wasnt under the influence of any drugs or alcohol and was released w/ out any charges. i am just curious if this can in any way effect her getting her 10 year permenant staus green card. Thanks

also forgot to mention that it requires that we get an official statement by the arresting agency or a court order confirming that no files were charged but they said they have no paperwork on this. should we just check the no box? Thanks

If your wife was arrested, you would indicate that she was arrested. You would then provide a further explanation to detail that no crime was committed or charged, and that this was just the result of a panic attack.
