Default Can They Slap a Lien On My Vehicle, or Repossess It

We recently bought a used truck. We we were approved that night and put a deposit down of 5000.00 the car was worth only 18,900 and 27,000 in total with taxes the financing company was to finance the rest. So we got the truck insured it and signed all papers. 2 weeks later the dealership says they made a mistake internally on their error. Since we had financing with the same company for another loan out on another vechile we either had to pay off that loan or put against the 5000.00 on the other loan and they would finance the whole truck. Now the lady who did our financing did not read the fine print on the approval before signing off on the truck, she just opened a new loan for the truck. Not our fault on that one it is her mistake. So the dealership tries to get another financing company to finance the truck but no one will touch it. So they ask for the vechile back in which we talk to our lawyer before that and he tells us we under no circumstances do we give the truck back as it is legally ours they signed off all rights to that truck. Now I am wondering since their is no financing on it do we own the truck legal and clear and could the dealership repo it or slap a lien against it( dealership wants to go after the operations manager who signed off on the truck for the difference if we do not hand over the truck)? What happens now to the truck? We have not started any payments yet since they weren't due to be paid until another few more days except there is no finaning company to pay it to. I would like this matter solved as soon as possible and am waiting to see what the dealership is going to throw at us again. Any help would be appreciated. I am from Canada British Columbia

This is a U.S. based forum, so few here know much about Canadian law. You are already receiving the advice of a lawyer, so your best bet is to follow your lawyer's advice.
