I think your right..!! These people are just crooks, and want to get more money out of it's tenants. Do you know that 2 months ago, a neighbor of mine moved out, because she kept paying her rent every month, the same day that I did, and she kept getting late notices.. ( and she wasn't late ) . She finally took them a money order and handed to them, got her receipt.. 1 week later she got a late notice again.. She went to the office, and they said that they had a recent burglary and that all the checks and money orders were stolen from the office, and she needed to give them another check..! and cancel that money order. She told them No Way.. she paid her rent and it's not her fault that it was stolen ! 2 months later.. she is still getting late notices on that months rent.. Her husband went to have a talk with them, and they said that they needed that months rent because they recovered all the stolen checks and money orders, but because they canceled that stolen money order, they needed their rent..
They decided to move away from these thieves.

Default The Retreat At Canyon Springs

I am currently experiencing a problem with my security deposit. It has now been over 60 days since I surrendered mt apartment to the staff. I have called the apartment complex, the regional office, and the corporate office. It is a total nightmare. Everyone is too busy blaming someone else. My husband filed a complaint with the Better Business Bureau, we have supplied a complaint to the Fort Sam Houston housing office to have the complex blacklisted for military families, and have spoken with an attorney. It is ridiculous. We no longer reside in TX so I am going to have to come back to TX to get this resolved. My attorney has assured me we will get all my money, the additional money, his fees, court costs, and my travel. He advised me that he had dealt with MBS Properties on many, many occasions. I agress the government of TX needs to do something.
