Hi,
I recently (2 weeks ago) married my girlfriend in New York. I am here on tourist visa and we got married so that I would not have to leave the country. We have both come to realize that it was a rushed decision and would like to have it undone. If it was up to me we would simply get a divorce, but my girlfriend is catholic and would really like to have it annulled, in which cause she must prove that she married me because of fraud. When we got married i promised her a Catholic ceremony in the not too distant future, but now I am not planning to go through with that. Would that constitute sufficient fraud for annulment?
Thank you,
Gunnar
