Default Labor Contract Requiring Direct Deposit

My latest Labor contract at my place of employment made it mandatory to participate in direct deposit, can they do this? I feel it's my individual right to decide how I receive my hard earned money.

You will have to post your state to get an answer. Some states permit mandatory direct deposit; some do not.

it is what "your" union agreed to....assume that it legal...assuming unions should know laws.

talk to union/your HR is there is an exception. next contract get people change it.....
