Thank you for your reply. I do see the your point regarding battery against a co-worker. We both agree on this, as per my co worker conduct. I have not denied this. The part I'm still confuse is, why he wasn't terminated as well.?...Therefore the disparate treatment, even thought he admited to "just patted my back".
Do you have any thoughts, advice about the previous notification of previous sexual harassment to my supervisor? In my belief, I reacted no just to physical assault, but to verbal as well.
Please correct me if I'm wrong.
Also were the law stands (example) if it is a woman who is being sexually attacked by a co-worker? Should she accept his actions? Will her actions of not to fight back while he is gropping her taken as an acceptance of his advancement, as written on her employee manual? then go and tell some one??? What if this pervb continues, until rape comes to, just because she did not defended herself??? Then should she go to her HR department and report it? Does the harasser wants to leave any witness??? If she did defend herself, let say, by slapping him, should she be fire for commiting battery against a co-worker? Hey, the inapropiate touch did not consist on a life treatening action.
Please does not take my questions as just being frustrated. I'm just seeking answers, explanations to understand my situation. So far you have helped by explaining my actions and why I was terminated. You have been one of the few that offered an opinion and recomendation. I indeed will seek legal counsel as you have recommended.
Any other advise is greatly appreciated.
Again, my Thanks.
