    Default Court Date for Shoplifting

As you guys may remember my story, I got caught shoplifting . The police came fingerprinted and photo taken. I hired a defence criminal lawyer and he said that we should wait until I given a court date by mail.
It has been a month now and I haven't get any thing back from the court nor from the police. My question is should I call and ask about the case, or wait as my lawyer recommended. Thanks once again for your help.

    Default Waiting for Court Date

I would suggest following your lawyer's advice.

I would call the court house. Things get lost in the mail all the time and it's your butt on the line not your lawyers. Ultimately your responsible.
