Hi,

I have a 18 months non compete agreement with my old employer.
I worked 14 months with him. But now i changed my employer.
Here are the some reasons forced me to switch employer.
1. Old employer compels me lookafter some inhouse sofware work after my working hrs and weekends.( He was't paid any over time for that)
2. No revision of my salary package.( which he orally promice after 6 months)

Now my Questions are.

1. Is non compete agreement valid in NJ?
2. If it is valid? The above reasons are good enough to protect myself?

Any body have any ides....
