    Default Legality of Recording Cell Phone Conversations

    in the state of ohio is it legal for somebody to record a cell conversation and use its contents for evidence after they denied recording it when asked at the begining of the conversation....

    You mean, the person who made the recording was a party to the conversation? Ohio is regarded as a "one party consent" state for recording phone calls, which means that ordinarily anyone who is a party to a phone conversation can record it without the permission of the other parties.
