Mischief Charges

I recently revieved 3 counts of criminal mischief for three small fires that I lit. The one I got caught doing was in a dumpster.

None of these fires did any damage to anything except for garbage.

I see a judge in december and I want to know what im looking at here.

Im 18 and live in Ontario.

also I have absolutly no record prior to this.

It will probably help you in court if you're already receiving psychiatric treatment. You should also get help from a criminal defence lawyer. The prosecutor and judge will be concerned about this pattern of behavior.

I don't practice law in Canada, but it appears to me that the court can either treat this as a summary offense, or can treat it as an indictable offense with a penalty of up to two years of incarceration.
