Unhappy My Son Was Picked Up On A Probation Violation

My son was picked up and put in jail on sunday for a PV. He was told that he would have an answer by wednesday about getting out. He still does not have an answer. Is there anything I can do? He does not have a court hearing or has not been able to talk to anyone since tuesday. We live in Oregon

I have called and keep getting the run around. They tell me they are working on it. They tell me they don't know anything. Well today I called the supervisor because, he is not eating, not getting his medication I got no response from them. It seems like they don't care. He is only 19 and this is the first PV he has had.
I don't know what else to do. I am scared that he is going to hurt himself or something and the PO will not listen.
How long can they hold him before they have to let him go? He was giving 5 yrs probation and has only served 3 months.

What do I do if he is not eating, sleeping or getting his meds? By law don't they have to give him his meds? I can't get any answers from anyone as to what is going on and it is really starting to bug me and make me mad. I don't think it is fair that my son be put through all of this just for a PV, and all the PV is for is missing a meeting with the PO after calling her to tell her he would not make it.

Have you checked with the jail about their policies on medication, and whether you may take his medications to the jail for his use?
