    Default HARRASSING EX-WIFE

I HAVE FULL AND COMPLETE CUSTODY OF OUR DAUGHTER. MY EX-WIFE GETS VISITATIONS EVERY OTHER WEEKEND. SO FAR SHE HAS MISSED OVER HALF OF HER SCHEDULED VISITS, TO THE POINT OF WHICH I HAVE LOST TRACK OF WHEN HER WEEKEND IS. SHE WILL CALL OUT OF THE BLUE AND SAY IT'S HER WEEK-END, USUALLY WITH-OUT WARNING. WHEN I TELL HER OTHER PLANS HAVE BEEN MADE AND THEY HAVE BECAUSE WE NEVER KNOW WHEN OR IF SHE WILL CALL. IF I DON'T GIVE IN SHE THREATENS ME WITH CALLING MY EMPLOYER AND TRY TO GET ME FIRED, SHE ACCOMPISHED IT ONE YEAR AGO, CALLING HARRASSING,AND MAKING UP STORIES UNTIL THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS GOT TIRED OF IT AND THEY LET ME GO. HOW CAN I STOP THE MADNESS AND MAKE HER LEAVE US ALONE AND STOP THE THREATS. AFTER ALL SHE DOESN'T EVEN PAY CHILD SUPPORT OR OFFER MY DAUGHTER ANYTHING. SHE LIVES WITH A BOYFRIEND WHO LIVES WITH HIS SISTER IN A BAD PART OF TOWN, FRANKLY I WORRY EVERY TIME I LET HER GO.

    Default Scheduling Parenting Time

Perhaps something like this: Get two copies of an identical calendar. Starting with her most recent exercise of parenting time, mark each weekend clearly with an indication of whether it is her weekend or your weekend. Give her a copy, ideally having her sign the copy you retain to reflect that it is accurate and that she agrees with the schedule.

On your copy, keep a record of her late appearances and no-shows. If she continues to be a problem, consult a local family lawyer about what relief a court might grant under the circumstances.

Default I know what your going through

We had the same situation and let me tell you people like this do not ever change. Start by writing down everything that happens with dates, times, what was said. Get a recorder for your phone and record all her messages that she leaves. Let her know that you are doing this or you cant use them in court. Keep detailed records of every missed visatition. Write her a letter and explain how disruptive this is to your child and make sure that you send it return receipt requested. Then, go to court will all of your stuff that you collected. or this will never end. It took about a year to compile enough evidence to prove she made no effort to be a parent. Make sure it is in order by date and easily accessible for the judge to look through. We even highlighted words like"missed visitation". We had my husbands ex-wifes visitation restricted. If she called to say she wasnt coming for her weekend then she forfeited the next one. If she was more that 30 minutes late, we got to send her home without our son. If she returned him home more than 30 minutes late she forfeited next visitation. It didnt take long for our son to realize that she just didnt care enough about him to make an effort to see him and he told her where to go when he was 12. Good luck!!
