They keep saying that because of Sept. 11, that things are harder to resolve. Ok, at first when he applied, he only had his birth certificate that said born in Manilla. So that flagged the clerk, since then they have been making him produce document after document, then they finally say that they have what they need, he gets a letter saying approved, then saying it was suspended. So, I am trying to find out, how he can expidite this because as it is right now, they say,"Send us what you have, then we'll get you a form for you to fill out in about 6-8 weeks, then send us the form back completely filled out, then we'll give your a response in about 6-8 weeks" (not an answer, a response). So, at this rate, my parents bills that he is still accumilating cause he is still symptomatic with his stroke. They have been giving them warnings about medical bills and stuff, and how soon they will take action. Well, they just squeaked by with his PG&E retirement and dissability checks and now he can no longer recieve dissability and is only recieving his retirement, which only covers their mortgage and a bill or two (electric and water).
