Default Liquor License Application with an Expungement

I had an offense expunged. It was a felony theft... cant remember if it was a "conviction" as this was nearly 20 years ago. I dont think I was "convicted", but I will dig up the paper work and find out.

    Questions re liquor license application:

    1) Will the authorities that do my background check come across my past record even though it has been expunged?

    2) when I apply, can I check the box that states I have "never" been convicted of a felony... assuming I was convicted?

    Thanks in advance!

Found the info on my past arrest. I was not convicted. Was released on supervision.

    Thanks
