    Default Missed Interview

    i am married to U.S. citizen,i missed my first interview,and my adjustment of status was denied, i am planning to re-file again, from the start and do the whole nine yards,but since, my employment authorization expired as well, i am un-employed right now,i am trying to gather some money for filling fee in doing some part time job for cash,till i come up with the money,so i can go ahead and re-file, my question is,can i get deported if Ins find out that i am in out of status,? Please help.

    Have you tried filing a motion to re-open you case, might be worth looking into that.

    If you're out of status, let alone out of status and working illegally, you can be deported.
