one of my friends just graduated from university and got a decent job in a big company in North Carolina, which is the state recognize the alienation of affection and criminal conversation. She's involved with a married man for 7 years (since she's in college) and recently his wife just found out and threaten her that she's going to sue her and ruin her career. She called and e-mail my friend couple times to threaten her. And she also tracked her down and get her credit card receipts (such as hotel bill, dining bill) while they met (my friend and the married man) in Las Vegas. This man and his wife just currently moved to Arizona from Denver. The questions are:

1. Can the wife sue her for the alienation of affection?
2. Is there anything she can do to protect herself?
