My nephew was sentenced to 5 years probation for a class D non-violent felony (grand larceny). Now I have two questions.

1. Where can he perform his court-ordered community service (240 hours)? I don't need addresses, I think he will get some from the court and/or department of probation. I just want to have an idea what kind of work he will be doing, as most of the non-profit organizations as Red Cross and Meals On Wheels don't accept felons convicted for theft.

2. He's in College, and I know that he often skips classes (he's doing well, so that's no problem). Can his probation officer inquire about how often he attends classes? And if attending college is part of his conditions, can be accused of violation of probation if he skips classes?
