Default Married In Arkansas or Not?

My "partner" and I have been happily together for 20 years. We lived 10 of these as common law husband and wife in Texas. My question is this:

We moved to Arkansas 10 years ago and because Arkansas does not recognize common law marriages, are my "partner" and I still considered to be residing in a common law marriage?

Thanks in advance for any advice! I really appreciate the site and all the advisor's time and effort!!

Once the marriage is legally established under Texas law, it's valid in all states.
