    Default Georgia Labor Laws

Where can I find a website that states the labor laws for Georgia? I have already looked at the dept of labor web site and can not find what I am looking for,
    Maybe someone here knows-
If you are fired, do you keep your insurance for 30 days?
If you are fired, do you get unused vacation time paid to you?

    Thank you

Whether or not you get your insurance continued for any length of time is determined by the insurance policy, not by law. It may legally be terminated on the last day of employment, on the last day of the month following the last day of employment, or for x number of days as determined by the employer/carrier. Any of the above are legal - the answer to your specific policy will be found in the policy itself.

GA law does NOT require the payout of unused vacation time. An employer may voluntarily choose to do so but is not legally compelled to.
