    Default Forensic Evaluation Abuse

Forensic evaluations cost unseemly amounts of money. I'm wondering if this legal status should be looked at as a waste of tax money. So often I see individuals that consume fecal matter assuming it would absolve them of responsiblity.

You're speaking of criminal cases? Family law cases? (In custody cases, the evaluations are usually paid for by the parties.)

Criminal cases. The cost to the state is what..a thousand dollars a day? These guys have an Axis II diagnosis at best. 30 -60 days to "evaluate"

Plenty of people in the criminal justice system have Axis I disorders. Axis III and IV as well, although that's not usually relevant to criminal responsibility or competence to stand trial.
