Default Emancipation After the Age of 18

Hi, I've been applying for financial aid in California and have been denied because my parents make too much money. They aren't helping me pay for school, I live on my own, pay my own bills, etc. The only way not to claim them on financial aid is to be "independent" i.e. married, military, or have a child. Is there any other way to be independent from your parents before you turn 24, so that I can get finacial aid for school? I'm looking into grants, scholarships, and loans as well, but they're harder to get! Thanks!

You have to meet the financial aid criteria for your school.
